Militante Splittergruppen

Neben dem klassisch jugendkulturell geprägtem Bereich, der Skinheadszene und dem Rechts-Rock, existieren explizit politisch ausgerichtete Gruppierungen. Lange Zeit war die »Russische Nationale Einheit« (RNE) die wichtigste Organisation dieser Szene. Sie veranstaltete Wehrsportlager und unterhielt lokale Basisgruppen, die in vielen Landesteilen aktiv waren. Ende der 1990er zerbrach die RNE in verschiedene Untergruppen und es entstanden daraus neue neonazistische Organisationen wie »Format 18«, die »Nationalsozialistische Gesellschaft« (NSO) oder die »Nationalsozialistische Bewegung Slawischer Bund« (SS).
